Ok, I know these things aren't important, but NSW roadworthys are really strict and im pretty sure it needs to work, for some reason it wont. i've tried two motors and i don't know why else it couldnt be working, i cant hear the motor but the fuse isnt broken either? I'm not that good at the electrics side of cars if you havent noticed -.- hahaha |

You have a short somewhere, and it is involved with the washer pump circuit. May take a little digging, but look for the "stupid and obvious"first; frayed wires, bad eart wires, and the previously mentioned switch block. If you can test the switches one by one, it may help. Also, when you take out the switch block, shake it and see if you can hear anything rattling inside it. |

Ok cheers mate, i haven't done everything you said yet, but when i disconnect the motor than the windshield wipers will go, but when its connected they both don't run, the motor works fine because i connected it straight to the battery and it was fangin, i tested how much power that was going to the motor and it had a reading of 11-12 volts, i don't know what else to do, it should be working.. |

I'd be looking at the switch block the wiper motor is on. If you can borrow a spare one, unplug the switch block, and plug in the new one, and see if it works. If it does, problem solved. If it doesn't, then you need to keep digging. Even if you don't have a multimeter, solder some wires to a small wattage bulb, then connect them to the connector on your washer pump. Make sure the wire is long enough that you can see the bulb when you press the washer button. If the bulb doesn't light up, then you check the switch. If not the switch, then the wiring from the switch to the pump. |

Motor works fine, so its something to do with the wiring, any ideas? |

ok, if i disconnect the motor, the windscreen wipers go when i push the button, but when i plug it in they dont go and the pump doesnt go. the fuse is also fine, so idk what it is, ill check the motor now with some spare wire. |

possibly when i lost power in the switch none of it worked, also if you can get a plug ( washer or speaker) and a bit of wire you can pull it out and test it on the battery + and - wont matter when you test it just see if its spinning |

i have a button that i push in, it doesnt click or anything but, it doesnt feel like a switch, do you think that could be it? |

and the switch i had one that clicked when you turned it but it had passed on so i replaced it. |

plugs don't have corrosion on them do they un plug it and give it a sand down if it is |
