Has anyone had problems with their t5 jumping out of 2nd gear?started as occasionally down shifting and has moved to up shifting aswell but only every now and then,is it because i hit 2nd too hard too often or what?what have you done to rectify,is it more than likely incorrectly adjusted clutch?or worn components in the box?

You have a small problem called I cleaned my teeth once too often!!! You have worn out the dog teeth on second gear. The remedy is basically drop the box out and off to a gear box place to have it repaired. I would give a guess that 2nd gear syncho will look very sad.

I would give a guess the jumping out occurs as the car get to maximum torque, when going up the gears. Also you have the correct oil in the box??
