Aside from different wheels & stipes they should help you get an idea of if you like the black look or not.

Keep in mind that gloss black is very hard to keep looking clean as it shows up dirt & polishing swirls (from incorrect technique) really well. If you want show car looks most of the time & you drive your car regularly, then black isn't going to work for you. My old LH was black & it was a nightmare to keep looking clean.

PS: patience - to have patients with ignorant ford drivers. patients - injured patient in hospital. :) Just so you know.

thanks for giving it a go mate i tried to use it all last night and had the same problem as you were saying and it ended up showing my car on top of my car so i ended up deleting the program from my com,
not enough (patients)? i guess strange word to spell prob not right even with spell check hahaha but thanks for trying I'm just going to get some cans of paint and do some tests on some spare doors i have

Well I sort of figured out how your supposed to do it (I think) but the results are garbage. Loses lots of the reflections making it look like semi-gloss paint & is very difficult to get the edges so it ends up having glimpses of the original color visible. I don't have a very steady hand though so perhaps you will have more success.

I can give you instruction on what your supposed to do if you like & you can see if you can get a better result than me?

Yea shane i was thinking gun metal grey at the start, but i think it may cost a lot more?
MrNutter Posted - 15 Aug 2011 : 1:48:21 PM
Black & Gunmetal Grey. Grey matches any colour & is always a safe bet. I'll have a look at downloading photoshop & see if I can figure out how to do what you want. Don't get your hopes up though, I suck with computers to.

hahaha yer mate i was looking at all the downloads and I'm just no good at using the computer and I'm not the best reader as well i tried to use it but i just couldn't figure it out I'm just glad this site has a spell check as i don't think anyone would be able to understand what I'm saying but i will give it a go again, i was thinking of doing a two tone paint job but nothing seems to look good with black
MrNutter Posted - 14 Aug 2011 : 11:24:56 PM
I don't have photoshop & I don't know how to use it but after having a quick look I see that you can download free trial versions (full versions) & that there are complete instructions on how to use photoshop on thier website. Perhaps just sign up, download a trial version & use it to do what you like. No cost other than a bit of time & some of your download quota.

Mica Black would be nice on yours. I've always been a fan of the two tone metallic burgundy & grey.
