I'm gonna be replacing my entire interior with VS SS gear, A cluster is a good place to start. I know it doesnt fit without custom modifications.
If I just wanted a l3, id get one same shape/size for a VN

| thanks aussie. I dont believe that there is any difference between the look of the lvl 3 in the vn/vp and the vr/vs. Well not that i have noticed anyway. Please correct me if i am wrong but wouldn't it be easier to just install the vn/vp or if there are differences in appearance use the vn/vp with the vr/vs back ground. |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

I'm gonna be replacing the dash and everything, ima redo the wiring too, just as soon as I get all the parts, mine is a little worn.
It's a lot easier to find l3 VR/VS clusters than the VN/VP ones, so in case i need to replace again in the future, it'd be easier with the newer wiring setup. |

| Hey no internet yet, the colour didnt come out as expected so its now being done silver with a slight gold pearl for a delicate champagne colour, and for some reason my mates burthday present to me was an extra turbo so al of a sudden it has a twin turboed heart of a lion... hmmm dont ask me,,, but hey he did the calculations and decided that it would be more effective and quicker and more powerful if it had two turbos cooled by methanol... hey it aint costing me anymore so I aint complaining |

| nice lol!! Howz this for sh1t luk, I gave aussiefastbowler my spare wiper motor thinking I wont need it!! So want happens today while its pi55ing down with rain, my wiper arm decided to throwit self out the side of my bonnet and break!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I h8 cars at the moment!!! on the bright side, $ 60 for a replacement! |

lol trizo, the motor you gave me was short circuting.....dunno why....never heard of it happening before.
The motor on my other one was fine, but the arm was screwed, so using the 2 I made a whole one...
i mean a wiper motor short circuiting?!?! |

| DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN Its still alive!! does any 1 know what the plugs are called at the bottom of the blok under the injectors!! Cause thats what my problem was!! The whole plug wich is a press fit has blown it self to smitherenes!! if som1 could tell me what these little sucker is called that would be great!! Oh well i'm off to abuse my car sommore! |

| Trizo the little plugs you talk of are welsh plugs. Nasty little buggers when you get them replaced make sure you replace them with....now i am not 100% on this but it is either brass or stainless steel ones. They come with mild steel ones which corrode rather easily and get nasty real quick. |

had the best weekend ever... i put angie (my VN) in a local hillclimb
race came 4th, first in the road devision got a lil trophy and $500 which was spent on grog and some new subs... it was awesome there was a fellow VNer there his was auto so we compared times and stuff had our own lil bets and battles and i flogged him ha ha told him bout the website to so we may get a new person on here... they shut down the road for a day for the races it was so awesome i got new tyres 2 days b4 and now i need to replace the rear 1's cause i did a celebratery burnout at the end of the comp... i was hitting corners that had a recomendation speed of 85 at 140+. but my v6 was no match for a 2004 sv8, a xr8 and an old kingswood that flew but the driver wouldnt tell us what was powering it all i know is i want 1.lol. good fun though. cant wait till another 1 happens probably wont be till next year though...:( oh well.
to TRIZO: dont make your own plugs... then u have no1 to blame if they stuff up.lol. l8rs |
