hey all ..well was reading all the members and thorght well its about time i wrote something hehe...anyway as some of you may alrerady know im Jason and i own a 1988 vn commodore .......well thers 3 of em lol 2 are vn's and 1 is a vp (mothers and sisters cars) so as u all can see im always on here trying to help others. I live in a place called tinana which is near maryborough in QLD (yes im a queenslander lol) im 17 years old almost 18 (18 in november........YAY) and i like to work on me car, but $$$ is kinnda stopping me at the moment .....oh and the p-plater laws aswell hehe or as trizo likes to call em "Hoon Laws"
im sure theres more that i can say but cant think at the moment haha ..any way thats me guys/girls.......(and if there are any)....ITS  hehe

well mine would be the worst looking out of the lot, but its a toss up between them all with the fastest......lol and there all white lmfao haha, but i wanna paint mine blue (one day)......but yeh me dad rekens mine has more grunt when around 80 then me mums (im not allowed to drive her car) . me sis vp is alot smoother (being a vp ofcourse) but i rekekn the vn's are quicker ....but that may be because the vp is alot quieter/smoother (but again im not allowed to drive me sis vp hehe)
as for the engines me mums vn we have had since 1995 (i was 5 year's old when we got it) and nothing major has gone wrong with it..only stuff like ....harmonic balancer..X 2 (changed one the other week) engine mounts, coils (dam vn's lol) and just general wear and tear...as for me sis vp she has hade it for around 7 months and it could do with some new engin mounts lol other then that it does have a slight miss but meh lol...and fially mine, got it in november last year and so far its all good, alls i have done is replaced engin mounts,and gave it a service, but its gonna need a new batery and hamonic balancer soon lol...YAY (touch wood) however it is the noisest out of the lot but, i think its just timeing chain rattle or tappets.....but it has the most K's on the clock though

oh and i will be poasting pics of the car soon/when i can get of me a55 lmfao......but dont laugh at it hehe it may not the the best looking vn but hey im getting there lol |

@ trizo haha yeh true (jokes) u should get some pics and post them up lol
oh and i did leave one thing out ..with me sis vp it had the harmonic balancer changed (typical commodores haha) and all the shocks...and me mums vn had all the front end replaced plus all the shocks...it didnt really need it but we did it anyway ..........soon im doing all the front end on mine plus shocks aswell haha YAY i should be an expert at it by then |
