ok i just go to ecu's outta 2 manual S1 engines and i took the memcals outta both of them to see if there were any differences

memcal 1

DELCO
AFTX
7330

1H8147

on side 68767 8821

memcal 2
DELCO
APNX
1687

1H9076

on side 68767 8912


does anyone know if these numbers/letters relate to anything?
if so is there a way to tell which is better?

well, i googled it... thats where i get all my contribution to these forums =P my GUESS would be that its simply the serial number. DELCO is the standard chip brand for holdens, i found that much out.
 

Theres a fine line between not knowing and not caring... i like to think i walk that line everyday of my life

nah they are standard memcals, i took the blue covers off and they have standard chips underneath

the chips themselves can be rewritten. i have read how-to's but it looks like a real brainstrain so i wont bother learning how its done.
