The other thread reminded me of something.

To lock my car I turn the key in the drivers door and all the doors lock. (central locking?)
Ages ago I went shopping and locked my car. the key hole is usually like this ( | ) however it stopped here ( - )

I didn't think much of it at the time but later when I went to get into it it wouldn't open.

I had to call the NRMA to say I'm locked out of my car and the keys are in my hand..

The guy ended up breaking into the back passenger door and unlocked it all. I am much more careful to lock it properly now but I think the guy broke something.

When I lock it now only 3 doors lock. Is there a way to fix it so it all locks at the same time again??

I always forget to lock it..

How did he break in? The only doors that lock and unlock are the front doors on mine. the rear ones have to be done manually. Have been meaning to take a look at it just never had a the time. with out looking at anythingon my own car try checking the conections in the door. and also check the rods that unlock and lock the door. sorry but I cant offer anything constructive or give you an exact solution with out first seeing it.

VNs have like a deadlock as well I'm pretty sure.

I'm surprised the road side assistance guy didn't have a better solution.

and makes a very annoying noise
central locking in my calais
is ****ed and simply doesnt work
i have no idea why
but the drivers side lock turns sideways (not the whole lock obviously the key)
and it doesnt take effort to turn it sideways either
