I thought it would be good if we could share tips on driving and stuff. My dad always tells me little bits and pieces and they have turned out to be really valuable.
*He told me that if I ever saw a kangaroo on the road and I was going to hit it and can't swerve safely to avoid it, I should brake just until I am about to hit it and then take my foot off the brake. He said when you brake the car lowers at the front and increases the chance of the roo going up into the windscreen.*
So if you have any little tips or advice anyone has given you that might not sound really important to you please share coz you never know if it will help someone else.
Oh and I also have a question.
Near my house there is a road that is dead straight for about 4 kms. I was driving along it and there was a car really far away in front of me. I know you shouldn't have your high beams on behind people but is there a distance you can? This road is infested with kangaroos at night and you really need your high beams along there.
The distance is in the learner hand book. I think its something like 200meters. when takeing bends always keep your speed steedy dont brake, if anything accelerate gradually to remain in cotroll of your car.
If you are teaching some one to drive for the first time ensure your will is up to date and start preying
Do not stand on roof of moving car and try to perform a handstand whilst smoking a ciggarette! lmao there is actualy a law in miami that states that lol!
