Hi all as a few of u know I was getting another vn.. Well I got it, a v6 vn calais , (Ill post a few pics when I can pinch my pops camera) anyways its a nice ride inside /outside needs a coat of paint (at least this 1 isnt 5 diff coulors) now the problem I have is ... it has a sunroof factory standard but the meat head who I got it of has fucd it, it dont close all the way gets about 50mm from closing and jams up, any ideas on how I can fix this? also the power window buttons on the centre console stay on ( four little green lights) anyideas on that 1? and last but not least were in the furkin hell is the brightness switch for the headlights ... usualy it is in plain veiw but I never owned a calais and all these buttons are confusing  my head light wouldnt light up a glass bottle... other than that every thing else is sweet as the engine is new I know cause I fitted it and the lsd is tight as a nuns u know what oh and by the way I got it for $800 not the $1200 they wanted for it!! The g/b is in good nick also , central locking and all power windows work , although drivers side is a bit stiff. All the trip comp and digi dash work a treat as does the cruise control.. good buy or what? and it blue over a silvery blue! thanx in advance trizo

Hey trizo , sounds like a bargain ! are you respraying same colors ? with the 4 green lights when you turn off the ignition
they will stay on for 40 mins if the interior light is not triggered.
if you open a door they will switch off in 40 sec.

| arhh sweet dude cheers, and I was thinkin I was gonna have to rip sh1t apart again and as for paint I m thinkin a black over silver ... seen it on a few and it looks hot as fuk! As for the sunroof I might try and jam it shut and then just seal it till I get some more bucks for a pro to fix it! Any ways I,m of to do the brakes on the beastie l8r days all... I think its wild turkey time ( 11 am ) |

| also with the headlights how in the hell do I makem brighter? usualy there is a little knob u can turn , but again cant find it lol! Would the globes them self be causing the low beam ? |

mmmmm..... JD time cheers all ? ive never noticed a headlight adjuster , if anyone knows this would be cool as i live out bush
and would like some extra brightness....? , could it be the globes ? great choice on the colors mate that will look tuff....!!!! |

| yeah cheers, ok there is no light adjuster , the dopey prik who did the wiring hasnt connected the lights properly,,, arhhh I,m gonna need alot of turkey today to stay sane I think, I also got a quote to get the sunroof fixd, the guy told me that at very worst it would be a grand ( coughs bullsh1t ) apparently holden made 3 types of roof so that was his argument , mine was the car cost me $800 so I cant justify it, I m gonna take it to him on friday if its not raining and get them to close it over and seal it for the time being! Mind you he was the only sunroof reapier installer in w.a.. |

| yay got high beam, dumb sh1t used a 20amp fuse insted of a 25 amp, but low beam is still very dim, oh well thats enough winging for 1 day time to drink some pi55! |

Im haveing the same problem with my low beam. it could have something t odo with needing new brushes in the alternater. but the globes I have in atm are from memory 50/60watts. thats low beam 50 watts high beam 60watts. what I want to get around t odoing is buying i think there 80/120watts failing that it'll be 60/100Watts you can identify this by the writting on the globe side of the......um globe
The sun roof may just need another actuator, or (with no idea what im talking about)If its gear driven it may need to be reset. (that is assuning its electric)
thats convenient for the sun roof guy
They are mean looking clours mate had a black over whit VB SLE with matching interior. |

thanx for the replys from what I can find on the sun roof on the rollers is broken as it will move a little but locks out on the back drivers side! oh such is life m8! all I can say is it goes hard and is nice inside its realy a few minor but annoying things! over all I give it a 7/10.. I got the camera tomorow so I'll try and put a few up of the old and new girls  |

| well news flash I managed to get high beam and parkers but no low beam.. wtf? as for my sunroof I found some nice thick weather seal for now |

hey agout your lights my dad had the same prob i just re wired it and put 100/130 watt lights in
