whats the standard cd player size to fit in a vn?
i always thought they made them all the same size
but have been looking on ebay
and wondering if the overseas cd players would be different
they have dimensions on them most of the time
just wondering what dimensions could i use in my vn?

| pretty much all australian standard ones will fit in your car. i've had 3 different cd players in my car all have been a different brand and have never had a problem fitting any of them |
I'd gladly push my holden than drive a bloody ford! |

| yeah - i've had a few and no probs but mine is 50mm deep x 180mm wide if thats any help to ya |

single DIN
thats the standard for vn's
some crappy brands are not able to make to this standard so they are out a few mm etc.
any half decent known brand are the same, single DIN
pioneer,alpine,eclipse,sony,kenwood,clarion etc |

| i have only ever installed a pioneer dvd player in mine and that was near impossible, the stereo still hangs out about quarter of an inch and the surround dosnt fit properly |

| Fiddle with the wiring at the back of the dash it might give a bit more room to play with. Remeber you should keep a little distance from the back of the unit instead of just shoving it in there as it might overheat or run extremely hot on a scorch of a day. |
