hey guys its been a while,

my mates vn calais has done 260,000 ks
runs on gas but only done 20.000ks on gas
he went to start the car in the morning, drove 5 meters down the road and suddenly the car started making a cluncking noise and turned off. the car was started on petrol at he time and also since then he couldnt start the car with out jumper leads and when started it would make a clunking noise coming from the bottom end also you need to constantly give it gas cause on idle the engine will cut out.

any words of advice and also if need be a vn series 2 engine price.

thanks guys

Take it sideways or take it home ;)

if the motor was 20 kilos then yeah it would be easy.... undo your engine mounts, electrics and hoses them it lifts out. if your at home you can undo the k-frame and front suspenion and lift the whole car up and slide the entire assembly out..... goo if you want to rebuild the whole front end (most vns need this)

Cheers,
Nodg.
