yeahh lol i actually think the thing there is up to 3 k's over is allowed, but aslong as your not 3 k's over for longer then 5 seconds lol i turned off the highway (80 k's) to a racecourse rd (60 k's) and didnt even think about it, cause racecourse rd leads to another main rd koo wee rup - pakenham rd (100 k's) so i just assumed it was 80 too :(
im from vic pakenham btw hehe

nah mate the new law states (and this is all states) that if u are over even 1kmph whilst sitting you licence it is a automatic fail.. hence y some if not most driving instuctors will take u through road works or a school zone ect.... |

When I was learning to drive the instructor said I should drive my test just like a Nanna..lol Practice driving slower than you are supposed to everywhere until the test. Obviously take note of all posted speed limits! They will really watch you for speeding next time. As Trizo said even 1km over is an automatic fail. |

it is a reason, its only 30 minutes of driving the way they want you too, check your mirrors, accelerate at a slow pace and stick 5 km/h under the limit, remember a speed limit is a limit, doesnt mean you have to do 60km/h in a 60 zone. when reverse parking or doing 3 pointers dont hit the gutters or you will fail, if you see roadworks r a school zone make an acknowledgment that you have seen it up ahead and drive to the conditions as required. |
Cheers, Nodg. |

You will get it m8 , don't let peeps rag on you cause you didn't hit it first time around! Again best of luck mate next time around and trust me nodg is on the ball with what he has said, Driving instructors are looking for these things now days in young or new drivers (look at the road stats and you will c y) be as safe and cautious as you can be with out being over the top and remember to be verbal in your observations! This will earn you points and a bit of trust with your instructor. |

i herd that they were getting more tight on the automatic licenses because lots of people were going for them at the fear of failing a manual. to make sure the people going for them could drive properly of something. plus the vicroads are better off for themselves to fail you so you have to pay to come again and they raise more revenue as they are a government run business. |
I'll show you the Rick James cell. It's superfreaky!. |
