Can someone tell me what the warning light icon that looks like '3 vertical wavy lines' means; situated at the extreme left on the cluster?

that would be the light to tell you that your demister is on,, also I just removed your topic that you posted in the how to section. (Please only post the question once) you will get a answer fairly quickly here 1 more thing , welcome to the site!

Speaking of warning lights.... the engine shaped warning light.... what is that one for?? Sorry to sound dumb but my friends car showed it the other night, and I didnt know... I am still learning all about VN's.....
