my rear muffler is making a ratterling sound so im thinken about taken it out an putting a straight pipe on instead, its just a v6 with a stock exhaust system and i want it abit louder. i will only take the back muffler out not everything. but is it legal? will it be to loud? and will i loose power?

no the power will stay the same and it will be louder and sound good but not too loud that it attracts the cops when you drive by.

when you out down your foot it sounds more.

i just had my exhaust done the exact same way you are proposing now.

however i don't know if this is legal ask you local exhaust specialist.

Yes. It will sound louder.

No. It won't increase power.

Yes. There's a good chance it'll sound **** though without extractors on it.

No point going any bigger than the rest of the exhaust.

u realy dont want anything over 2 1/2 inch anything bigger and you will lose power with out upgrading the engine! As crazy said get some extractors and go for a straight through system!
