are they the same on v6 auto and manual? since convertin to manual i havent had a speedo cos the one that came with the t5 is broken (the case that screws it on)

just wondering if auto will work, i have tried it but pin seems to be a different length

Im not real good on the manual tranny's but from what this book tells me one is a reverse light switch/plug and the other should be your speedo sensor which from memory is on the drivers side of the gearbox!!there is also a plug for the sensor! Hope that helps m8 ! Welcome to the site! P.s I moved your other post becuase it was a double post!

yer i went to a wrecker today n he reckons their a diff plug but i pulled it apart today and i reckon im just gonna try an auto one. its deff electrical fault cos when the cars cold it will work but then stop once it starts to warm up and the needle will bounce around, the worst thing is it will drop idle revs when i put my foot on the clucth to slow down a gear etc, and it only does this when the speedo doesnt work, lol.
