Just thinking how crap insurance and laws sound over there in oz
here in nz we are fully licensed by 16 and a half and we have insurance companies that deal with modified cars.
a 17 year old here can own and drive a late model twin turbo japa fully insured quite easily
guess thats not the case over there?

the insurance company's and laws really conflict with each other dont they?
You can own a v8,rego and insure if u crash but if u get pulled over 3 times or more it's $1000 and 3points plus the car impounded.
stupid that you should be allowed. to buy it in the first place |

i dunno about the laws over there but here its just a mess, if you get caught speeding in an unroadworthy vehicle its cheaper to say you didnt have your license on you.
i got a camera ticket for 83kph in a 50 which stung me $300 bucks, fair enough
i got pulled up by a mufti for doing 70 in a 50 and he tried taking me to court.
how the hell does that work? he just jumped straight to charging me and taking my license |

| also i have a mate who had a 500hp+ vr that him and his dad built up as a first car. he got insured on the equivilant to your p plates for $400 a year |
