| First question Whats your budget?? |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

I would be going the 5 litre way myself which will be alot more work but i love the V8. Supercharger will still be a bit of work. Depends also if you get a bolt on type kit (for the supercharger) or more of a custom sort of setup with some engine work. If you could get a v8 vn for the conversion it will be alot cheaper and easier than trying to source the parts needed and would probably end up being cheaper than the bolt on charger kit.
Price around though to get an idea of what it is going to cost and then decide from there. |

Thinking about the question whats going to be more fun for you. The grunt potential of a 5 Litre, lots of that for sure That satisfying whine of a supercharger at full noise ... mmmm yes
Ok so the cost factor comes into it.
On a budget of about $4000, you should get the 5 Litre in with a small amount of change ... keep in mind you will need to know what you're doing ... and don't forget the extras that creep into the process. You will need the gearbox, computer and engine harness, V8 K frame, brakes, Radiator, engine and gear box mounts, air box and so on.
With the super 6 it could easily run over your budget, some extra mods will be required to make it all go in the trusty VN. I'm not sure of all you will need but some things to be aware of include modifying wiring harnesses, altered engine mounts, uprated airbox, maybe a radiator upgrade.
Talk to some people who have done the job to get a good idea what you need.
I say the 5 Litre is a better value for money deal, even with the higher rego and fuel costs.
Best of luck with the job, drop back and let us all know how it went

| v6 with forced induction is the easy way to go fast but do it properly, put the 5 litre in then save up for a supercharger for it! id begin with the 5 litre myself, much better place to start with the extra torque and potential. |
Cheers, Nodg. |
