Hi there im building a Group A replica and am looking for some fresh ideas and suggestions. Im a trimmer by trade but i dont know too much about the mechanical side of things, any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!!!

The SS is a potent weapon if you want to tinker with it. The two most basic things you can do to upgrade it for power is exhaust and memcal chip. A cold air intake can be sourced from a VR/VS Club Sport (somebody's gotta be making knockoffs of those things) The standard VN-VS airbox sucks air from behind the headlight, the cold air intake cures that.
