Hey guys i just bought a 5 Ltr for my vn v6. The deal comes with motor with accessories, box, loom, computer,extractors, y piece i just wanted to know if i need to change the tailshaft (iv already changed my diff), fuel lines, ignition and also any problems that i mite come across cheers guys

I would change everything to do with the driveline, and anything electrical to do with the engine. A V6 tailshaft might fit into the back of a V8 gearbox, but would change it anyway for something designed for a V8 just to be sure. Luckily, that's not a huge job to do. If you're using the same used tailshaft you got with the other part, check the unis and the centre bearing before you put it in. If there's even the slightest bit of play on any of them, replace the offender.

You will also need the V8 K-frame and suspension and possibly more. Do a quick search of the forum and you should find what you are looking for. This question has been asked a couple of times before
 

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

BRAKES! v6 ones are ****, ive still got the 6 in mine and I put v8 brakes in, stops a wee bit better but still pretty rubbish
 

Just be thankful you got two legs to stand on and hands to grab sh*t with!

VN Group A brakes are the way to go. You can't beat the look of the BIG 330mm front brake rotor! The V6 brakes are absolute garbage and in fact i think you would be better of either sticking your arm out the window and grabing on to a power pole or cutting holes in the floor and using your feet to stop.
