They're right. The rear bumper isn't much of an issue, but unless to change the front clip (all panels from windscreen to front bumper, including headlights) it won't fit properly. Although if you wanted to fit VR front sheetmetal to the front of a VN, it's no problem. It's a straight swap, with maybe drilling some holes for the struts to hold up the bonnet, and patching the repeater lamps (side indicators) into the front indicators so they work.
There are however a lot of aftermarket manufacturers whom will make a VR Club Sport-style body kit for a VN, that will fit as if it were original equipment, if you want to do that. |
