i am sorry i am a bad speller and my english skills aren't the best ether that is my only weakness point sorry for that that is why it hard for me to describe thing in righting sorry for getting my post wrong sorry . |
i am not a licenced mechanic but i do have years off experience fixing and restoring cars and doing them up ,i can even do-motors-up,panel betting,spray painting,electrical work. i know What i am doing when fixing my cars, i am not saying i know everything on how to fix cars but i can fix them with information and help off the internet and this site.vncommador.com |

hi i will explain why i had too do this modification abut 5 and a half years ago i had accident i the vn And i got t bonded in the front right -INFROUNT OF TYER BUT DID NOT HIT ]TYER THE DAMIGE IS RIGHT guard-front bumper -bonnet - lights and grill . fix all off that but my chase is out off line on the front right by 4mm too 6mm , i had 3 wheel aliments on my car but it never fix my camber so i had to do this modification too fix my camber problem!!! THIS IS TOO EVARY ONE ON THIS SITE ( DO NOT DO THIS MODIFICTION TOO YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU HAVE TOO LIKE ME I HAD TO DO IT THIS WHY TO CONPPENSATE FOR MY CHASE BEING OUT OFF LINE 4MM TO 6MM OUT !!!) SO VNSVLE IS RIGHT DONT DO THIS TOO YOUR CAR I WILL TAKE NO RESPONSABILY IF YOU DO THIS MODIFICATON!!!!! I HAD TO DO IT THIS WAY TOO FIX MY CARS FROUNT RIGHT CAMBER !!!! ( SO USE VNSVLE ADVICE TO FIX YOUR CAMBER FIRST ) VNSVLE I AM SORRY I DID NOT TELL YOU THIS BEFOR SORRY MATE !!!! HOPE WE ARE STILL FRIENDS VNSVLE . PS / THE CAMBER ON MY CAR IS GOOD NOW BUT I THINK I HAVE TO RE-ADJUST IT - GO BACK 1MM OR 2MM RE-RE-ADJUST IT BECOUSCE MY STEERING WHEEL FEELS A LITTLE OUT OFF LINE. WHEN I DOVE IT TODAY SO I THINK I WILL RE-ADJUST IT AND SEE HOW I GO. ( SO DO NOT DO THIS MODIFICTION UNLEES IT IS YOUR LAST RESORT LIKE ME.!!!!) |

You have done the modification, nothing can change this but it was far from the last resort. There are alot of other things that have not been tested.
Anyway what's done is done end of story |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

Hey guys, can see this has been a popular thread havnt thought about redrilling strut holes or anything like that yet, i still have the camber issues and i got a chance to look at the car yesterday ( a long time between posts i know im currently fittng an intercooler at the same time lol). But it looks like i have a busted ball joint its attached to the power steering control arm but can anyone confirm what rubber is damaged? the front left side rubber is completely f*****, and does anyone know how easy it is to fix ?

Not sure which rubber you are talking about?? Are you talking about the rubber on the tie rod end or elsewhere?? Pictures may help if you are unsure. Cheers |

i have fixed up the holes i wielded the holes up on the strut tower today the top is dune and i will give it a wield from under the strut tower holes to make it strong -(from under the car guard- strut tower holes and clean it up with grinder) tomorrow its too dark now, and i will put it back together tomorrow . |
