gday all i have a sony headunit and fitted it myself with ease. the problem i have is that it has to sit on an angle to fit in with the Airbox behind it. has anybody been able to get around this?? i cant get the surround to fit around the cd player to make it look respectable?? thanx all
More to the point, if you've got RCA leads in the back of it, it might be worth finding some right-angle plugs for them. Having standard RCA plugs in the back of a h/u is almost never going to work properly in a VN.
Also...how did you do the wiring, did you buy a wiring harness adaptor or did you just solder it all up? A wiring harness is easy and can be done, but you've gotta be really careful with tucking it all back in, because they do take up quite a lot of room.
