Hey guys fixed my VN Exec in January and had a bit of a collision recently. Hit a guard rail in the hills due to a bit of understeer but basicly took it to the blokes at Guilbert Motor Bodies for a quote and it came back to a whopping $2,500. To be honest bit of a shock because for that money i could buy the VR Ecotect being sold down the road. My mates mates a 3rd year panel beater didnt even wanna touch it. Do we have any user in S.A who know someone that could do a good backyard job?

I don't know whether SA TAFE does what other states do. To train apprentices, people bring their cars in, and the apprentices will work on it. All it will cost you is the materials they use. If your mate doesn't want to touch it, the damage is obviously deeper than beneath the skin. Ask him what, realistically speaking, you'd have to do to fix it |

good stuff 800 is better then 2500 but still you could get a hole other vn for that and change the motor over and then you would have a spare one sitting around , but as you said you don't have the tools and the time |
