I have a blue vn and the paint is starting to fade, i want to know a rough price to get a quick respray job done, like a black or charcoal grey,i don't need all the panels and stuff taken apart, just a backyard job.
Anyone know a rough price or even someone that could do it cheap?

for what it would cost you could do it yourself if you have a compressor that would make it cheaper still, its easy enuff hardest part is the sanding. |

nah use wet n dry and wet rub the car use the old paint as your undercoat, when i was working as a t/a spraypainter we would rub cars back with a scouring pad and a rubbing back compound just to get the shine off then the paint would stick. and dont do any sanding with just your hand use a rubber block and when you paint it if you get a run you can wet rub it to smooth them out. but make sure you have a gun to suit the compressor you are using if its a small comp use a low pressure gun. and use a fine wet rub b4 clearing say 1200 grit. |

i prefer to do at least three coats and the thinners mix varies a little from brand to brand and type of paint double check with the supplier to get an exact ratio and to see if you need hardener (depending on the type of paint you use) |
