Is it ok to use Castrol Transmax M in my 1988 6cy VN's automatic? I need to service the tranny & I've got 6lt of the Transmax M on hand but don't know if it is any good to use in the Commodore Automatics.

VN Sedan Series I.
Stock aside from steering wheel, airhorn & stereo system but is exceptionally tidy.

From what I can gather from the castrol site - http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/castr_au/default.asp - they recommend the Transmax M as an alternative to power steering fluid in the vn's.
In reading this i would not recommend this in the auto.
If anyone else has anymore info please feel free to correct me :)
Cheers

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
