My interior of my vn berlina is in between a grey and a cream colour and I wish to change that. What are the best products to use to change the vinyl and upholstery colours without buying new interiors or ripping them out of another vn?

Cheers.

There is a company called VHT that sell off the shelf vinyl spray in a variety of colours. Haven't used them myself, but a former boss of mine restored a 1957 FC Holden ute, and they results on his door trims were amazing. I know for sure the spray dye works on vinyl and plastic, just not 100% sure on how it goes on cloth. Fairly sure they make a specialist version of cloth trim though. There are only 3 things to remember with this stuff:
1. Tape up or remove EVERYTHING that you don't want painted
2. Clean thorougly. Get the vinyl, plastic and cloth as clean as you possibly can before you paint.
3. Ventilation away from dust.

Rear trims that don't seem to have screws holding them in, escpecially the ones around windows, remove them only if you absolutely have to. The clips holding them on are very fragile and break easily. Door trims are easy. Wind down the window, undo the hoseshoe-shaped clip on the window winder handle. Then gently prise off the cover panel on the grip handle of the door trim. two screws behind that. Gently undo the surround from around the mirror mounts. With these bits off, gently wriggle it loose. Then you can put it on the bench to work on it as you need to.

I forgot to add, Autopro, Repco and Autobarn usually have some in stock, or can get it for you. I just forget whether there was any of those three stores in Seymour. Have only been there once, and only briefly
