                      | What are the gauges for?? Are all guages functioning correctly??
Check for shorts in the wiring to the gauges.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

                      | thanks for answering man :) the gauges are for oil pressure, water temp, air/fuel ratio and boost gauge.
when you say shorts do you mean in the sender wires or the positive and negative wires?

                      | I think he means all the wires to and from the gauges. If any one of them has a short, except maybe for the negative wire (which for simplicity should just be a solid connection to the body) could be causing this. As you've said, no problem when you disconnect them, but the trouble starts when you do. Go through each individual wire one by one, and see if there is a short or just a bad connection somewhere. It's possible there's a problem with the car's harness itself, but the gauges are definitely your starting point |
