Posted - 31 Oct 2011 : 2:29:52 PM Hi there, was in the process of installing a Mace Engineering 70 mm throttle body and noticed that the rocker cover gaskets need replacing. Anyone know if there is any difference between series 1 and series 2 gaskets and if so what brand is a good replacement? All I seem to be able to find are cork ones and I'd prefer to go with something a little better such as rubber. |

Posted - 31 Oct 2011 : 3:54:10 PM ACL are the only gaskets I use. I am not sure what gaskets the series 1 has but the series 2 has a moulded rubber gasket that is recessed into the cover such as this - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOLDEN-COMMODORE-3-8-V6-ROCKER-COVER-GASKETS-VN-VY-/110595232205 Might be able to change to the series 2 rocker covers and use a rubber gasket but not entirely sure on this one.
