also since i have a 5 litre throttle body, my engine light is always on ?

Yep over at Squaredarches as well buddy.
Crank angle sensor should throw a code which means your engine check light will be on.
Code 41 I think.
Check your EFI relay and injector wiring just to make sure there is not something you forgot to connect.
Cheers

VNGRPA Posted - 03 Jun 2012 : 2:53:07 PM

suswpn Posted - 03 Jun 2012 : 2:50:45 PM
yeah sweet, i still have my old motor sitting there so i might take the cas off and put it on this one and see if that fixes the problem
VNGRPA Posted - 03 Jun 2012 : 1:49:22 PM
sounds like a CAS problem if your getting fuel and its just not kicking over, VNSVLE knows heaps about these motors mate so your in good hands,
suswpn Posted - 03 Jun 2012 : 1:47:48 PM
nah mate, are you also on squared arches? iv only just dropped the motor in and bolted it up put oils etc in and tried firing it and nothing just trys to start fuel is going through the rail but the injectors arnt pulsing so fuel is getting into the cylinders.
