The earth could be part of the problem. Check both your engine earth and your amp earth. Double check all of your wiring. Also a noise suppressor may help. You can pick these up in the stereo section at your local Supercheap/Autobarn or such places. They should come with installation instructions. If i think of anything else i will let you know.
Keep us posted.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

honestly it sounds like an earthing problem, or just a dodgy wire, maybe it got crimped in one spot or something, stuff like that can happen, and I know I'm just repeating VNSVLE, but I honestly think that is the problem. Maybe check ur RCA leads if you're using them and try another pair before buying a suppressor. They only really help if you have unexplainable high gain, even though everything reads normal.
Disconnect one speaker at a time, and see if it still happens, My car was doing that and it turns out a speaker was causing the entire system to short, and when it wasnt shorting it was crackling and spitting.

Let us know how you go, but I doubt a suppressor would do anything.

if you cant find anything wrong with your wiring setup install a suppressor to your system to get rid of that damn bloody noise that gets louder and louder as you accelerate!

Cheers,
Nodg.

yeah, sometimes it doesnt short all out, but has enough contact to make it grind out, I didnt think it was the supressor. glad you got it going agian.
