Hey all members of www.vncommodore.com. I thought I would make this topic for anyone that has something to show on eBay that either looks funny, weird or anything of interest. One more thing, there will be no advertising of your own items on www.vncommodore.com. We will find out if you do and your post will be removed ASAP. (ONLY EBAY NO OTHER SITES)
Also members if you would like to advertise your OWN items please do there is a section for that: Online Classifieds

| If the struts come with the springs the struts wont fit as they are VR-VS. Also the rear springs in the wagon and ute are different to the sedan springs. |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

Not exactly sure but if i had to guess I would say that the spring rate(how hard they are) is higher for the extra load rating in the ute and wagon. I would say it would make a fairly rough/stiff ride. Also have had a look at the king spring catalogue ( http://www.kingsprings.com/King_Springs_Catalogue.htm ) and they have different part numbers. They may very well fit maybe ask your local parts person. |

As with most things sweet you can fit them but it takes quite a bit of time and money. For starters all you get is the turbo without manifold or pipework. Second i would really try and steer clear of second hand turbo's unless you know it is extremely cheap or can go and look at it and have an idea if it is good or not. So to answer your question no I am sorry to say that it will not go straight in. As for the supercharger you mentioned they aren't to bad for a little bit of fun but you dont get an enormous power gain and it would really be more trouble than it is worth I think.
Basically the 1ggze was a 2 litre 6 cylinder. The supercharger is called a Sc14, for the fact the Sc - Supercharger and it flows 1.4litres of air per revolution. 1.4l of air per revolution driven at 1.42x the crankspeed of the 1ggze, will give 1.988l of air per crankshaft revolution. The sc14 was driven at 1.42x the crankspeed of the 1ggze engine by use of a bigger or smaller pulley (depending on where the pulley was mounted, crankshaft or supercharger) to get the 2.0l of air it required. Therefore, to get your 3.8l of air you would have to drive the supercharger at 2.67x the crankspeed of your engine.
These will bolt straight on with an adapter kit from CAPA i believe.

| Ebay has so many tyre kickers its not funny. I relisted my vp 4 times and on the last listing i put 1500 for it outright and noone would buy it, only squatters that would offer me 200 dollars, or people that got my number, phoned me up and never turned up to look at it!! either sellers wanting too much money for an item, or a buyer wanting to pay minimum price for something of value. dont get me wrong theres lots of bargains but be very weary |
Cheers, Nodg. |

| just an ebay rant, what can you do if a person with many negatives, outbids you for an item and its likely to bump up the price and the bugger not pay? |

since its not ur item there bidding on then u should be finee. If u really want the item then keep bidding under that bidder and if they were not to pay then hopefully the seller will put u up for second chance offer. Hope that helped vnkid..
For the springs i ended up buying one today for half the price. B4DN XXXX |
