no problem whatesoever, unhook the battery and unplug the engine ecu fuse from under the hood for a good half an hour, you can just simply unhook the battery for a minute but it doesnt completely clear the ecu's memory!
its not vital to rev to 3000rpm, just simply drive your car up the street and it will reset itself, saves your neighbours going off at your, and do it on whatever fuel you use most freqyebtly!
