Hi,
I'm looking at getting some seats from anything out of a VT up the new VE to put into my VN. I have seen people advertising they have brand new seats and I was wondering if anyone knew of where I could purchase brand new holden seats?
Thanks

Where abouts are you located?

Also are you dead set on later model seats? The reason I ask is that you could get yours customised for a sportier fit and reupholstered in a factory fabric or similar. I only make the suggestion as its on my to do list when I finally get around to the interior and in my opinion a lot of the later model seats look out of place in a VN and often look too 'cramped'. Plus, getting yours redone and sexed up gives it something different.

Just my humble opinion... and good to see you posting again- how's the car coming?

Thanks MILD50.

I'm not completely stuck on the idea i guess. Do you have any idea on what kind of money it cost to get seats re done?
My car is coming along okay, havent done much because of work although i'm thinking of pulling out what i did in the boot and re doing with fibre glass but just an idea at the moment.

you can slap some nice vs seats in just need the rails ,, imo anything like the vt upwards would make the vn look skinny!!!! and its spose to be a chunky car... just my opinion !! the redone seats sounds fun but!

The cost would depend on how far you took it. And the trimmer.

To be honest, I'm not sure of anywhere that sells 'new' seats but Just Commodore spares might be worth a call or Google... should give you an idea on cost though.

What model is the car? If it's an Exec you could always look at VN Calais or VQ Statesman seats... you'll be surprised by the difference.

Well where are the pics then buddy???

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

I'm suprised how good it looks- in the past when I've seen it in a mate's VR I wasn't very impressed at all.

Good job... love the mega shifter aswell. Got more pics of the install?
