Cant seem to find it anywhere, even my friend has a motor out of the car and we cant find it on that one either.
I had a word to the guys at Holden and they said its on the side of the block next to the water pump but even though we had the other motor out of the car we couldn't find it anywhere.
I need to know where it is ASAP and to have it visible for the police officers to do a stolen check before I can get it registered.
Detailed description and/or pics would help greatly as "just around the side near the water pump" doesn't help at all and I doubt that its even where he said it is.
get a can of degreaser and a wire brush, look under the passenger side head (where the head meets the block) and clean the area, the number will display with a torch and mirror
Here you go (the bit circled in red):D. It is just to the right of the water pump looking at the engine. Rather hard to see. This engine is out of the car and it took me about 10 minutes to locate. It will take a wire brush as nodg said to clean it up.
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
