hey all, i was looking through the rta numberplate pamphlet the other day because i was after black and white plates. The only ones i can find though are slimline on the front and three quarter size on the back. i know from looking at other bodgy vns around town that the front plate is fine but on the back you can see these ugly little mounting points that the full sized plates screw into. i was just wondering if any of you guys know a way around this or would have any ideas. ive measured some plate covers and they still come up about 1cm short, haha maybe im to fussy with this sort of thing.
any advice would be much appreciated,
zach

You could get some sheet metal polished and cut to size as a mounting backing.

Other than that- VQ garnish and bumper ;)

Nah- there's a white VN a couple of streets from my house. Colour coded everything except door handles from memory, standard front end and VQ rear end- bumper and garnish. Seriously looks tough as, the only problame being whether the centre strip design matches- especially if you still have the body mouldings on.
