Is this something that can be adjusted or is it just easier to buy a new one.

First check it's firmly fitted and both the socket and plug are clean.

well thats fairly well oilled. Is it really nessesary to have those lines from therocker cover breathers to the throttle body? scraped out a tone of burnt oil out of the gallary on the throttle body, hole in it was only 3mm diameter.........TPS is pretty well shot. the bolt holes that hold it in position are fairly worn. and the throttle body now has a brand new weetbix box gasket

if your into high revs dissconnect the hoses to the throttle body and hook them up to a catch can, works alot better that way.

tps probably needs replacing, the only way it can stuff up otherwise is to be installed incorrectly when new...

Cheers,
Nodg.

That would work. Why didnt I think of that? actually Im as of yesterday cars reving at 1500 in P drops down to 1000 in D. Im trying to figure out if I have forgotten to put a hose on or if the ecu needs to be reset. Im also wondering if the smoothe side of the weetbix box is leletting air through. Ive also lost power. I best take a go take a look now.
