haha not much happening here although I did score another car .. not what a wanted but its a nice ride all the same... and you'll never guess what I got !!!!
a verada is a bitsash1tty dude, also got a 89 calais with the factory sunroof!! but I dont pick that up for a leasttwo weeks and the verada I get that on the 2nd of august!
does any1 have a idea of how many vn calais were made with the sunroof! This isnt a aftermarket install either Its a 1 owner car and I know the fella , he brought it of the showroom floor like that, but here is the thing I cant find any other vns that came out with this feature!
Please dont make me go through all those mags again. I know I saw something about VN's having the option of a sunroof. but I cant remember havenig ever seen one. btw I found the results for the air filter test only it was don on a VL with the RB30 something that Im told is that the motors in the VN's love the extra air. then the results shouldnt vary to much.
this afternoon was ment to be one of those days where I pull the throttle body off the car and figure out why it wont close off properly, and figure out why its jamming open and fiddle with the idle control screw, but no I have been forced to leave the Calais on the side of the road just up from a mates place. fired it up to come home idled at about 300rpm didnt seem to be fireing on all 8 but ran all the same. hitting the throttle didnt make a differance to anything and puting it in drive anddoing it gave the same result. Honestly who in there right mind buys a car?
Ill have a play with it as soon as I get the car home let you know when I find the cause I did have the screw completely wound out and it ws running just short of fine. should have left good enough well enough alone
