Hey everyone
Yesterday i had the nrma out for a flat bat. while checking everything out he strongly suggested i get the cooling system flushed. Can anyone tell me what this involves and would it be something i could do myself to save a few bucks?
cheers

i flushed mine by draining all the coolant, taking off the hoses then sticking a hose in both the motor and radiator and squirting water thru them. with a bit of pressure. gets most the **** out. free and easy

Boost me, and double clutch me so i can get my. Loss of Traction!

I think Holden also have cooling system tablets that work at disolving the gunk that builds up through out the system.

I want to do mine soon so I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the best way of doing it.

best and only way to flush the entire system is via a heater hose, with the motor switched on and the heater on full blast.

if he strongly suggested it got flushed then a cleaning agent would be a good idea, but if its a general flush then dont bother.

Cheers,
Nodg.
