Hi Guys,
Thought I'd join up coz my Boyfriend Cam Camo91vp is signed up on here and I have a few questions of my own about my VP.
Does it matter that my car is a little low on compression?
Haven't had a chance to test with a compression tester yet, but you can tell by the intake sound when I put a pod on.
Any suggestions are helpful
thanks

It wont be running as economically as it would be with good compression. Is it running alright?? Does it use oil?? What makes you think that the compression is low??
I would be checking it just to be sure. Minimum compression pressure should be no less than - 100 Psi (689 Kpa).

Welcome to the club to by the way!!

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

Hi, thanks for the welcome,
It's running a little sluggish and it sounds like its suffering for air.
It is extremely good on oil, no problems there.

you cant just get compression back you would need to pull the engine down and put in some new rings and ide lap the valves to make them seal properly while youre at it if it doesnt smoke and goes OK theres no real point.

if you dont have the knowledge to do it yourself can be expensive to get engines rebuilt.$2000-$3000 at some places. what makes you think its low on compression.get a compression test done if you think its low.

It could be a cracked gasket or something try to find out by doing a blink code on your comp first, I don't think at all you would need to rebuild your engine.
