Hi guys and girls,
As the subject name suggests, i would like to know everyone's experience and opinion on picking one of the most important parts of any car, TYRES!!! I have 6 month old tyres that came with the wheels i purchased. They are directional tyres and are fine in the dry, but in the wet they just spin without even trying. I don't ever do burnouts in my car because it isn't what i built the car for, so the tyres haven't been abused during their short life. I have had one recommendation so far, and that is Dunlop 9000's. My brother has these on his GT which throws a tyre chewing 270kw at the tread.

Michelin Pilot sports , man i had some on a car with 17inch rims , they could really go around corners well ....
great grip on takeoff , hardly any flex in the sidewall its really thick , and with fantastic rim gutter scrape savers.
but useless on dirt roads and large potholes though !!! very pricey... |

I run Pirelli 6000s. Great tyre. They stick quite nice, and will last a fair while if you wanna do burnouts.
If you want an even sticker version, you can go the 7 or even the 8 series. |

| P6000s are very nice for me, except the rear...which is the VN FE2 setup anyway. Front sticks like sh1t to a blanket though. |

This will be easier u 4 VN91SX as you shouldn't have the camber problems of the VS's IRS. Is the front really lowered much?
what profile you thinking? |

I have always had high performance Yokohomas on most of my cars which I found orsome in the wet. The only down side with getting a good Yoko was the milage wasn't the best. On the VN I now drive I just got Bridgestone ER30's which are fine for my old man driving style now.

A great tyre that isnt too expensive are the Kuhmo Ecsta KU31. My brother is running these on his Soarer which is running 280kw atw and he loves them, Wet or Dry. My dad runs these on his Vs SS and loves them. They are about 150-170 a tyre depedning on where you buy them. Hope this helps mate |
