Hey guys i was having a flick though the manual i brought the other day for my VN (Which shows Vp V6-V8 as well) And was looking closely at the VP V6 headers.
They look just like what you would call extractors compared to the VN. The problem is that i can't put on say Pacemaker ones because my insurance won';t let me they barley wanted to take me and it's in my dads name.
Would putting on VP V6 header make any extra performance and would they go straight on no worries?
I'll show you the Rick James cell. It's superfreaky!.
hsv had actual tube extractors.vp have cast iron manifolds they will flow better than stock VN log manifolds but you need manifolds and y-pipe to fit them the vn y-pipe wont fit.and the other issue is that they crack passenger side manifolds all the time i went to pacemakers cause the one manifold was gonna cost me at least half or more of the price for pacies.
they arnt extractors they are cast iron manifolds and a y-pipe much like what you have just the y-pipe has different length pipes upto the cast manifolds.if it has full tube headers it must be pics of an HSV version with stock HSV headers and if you cant have pacemakers ide say you probably cant have them either.
basicaly yes the vn-vp s2 maifold and y- pipe has a much better flow and not a bad sound really, the s1 pipes were crushed to make them fit ( poxy idea ) ,,,,which insurer are you with??
I can get this cheap from my wreckers so i need to get the header and the pipe between the headers and the cat and it should all fit nice and sweet, is that right?
And a new gaskets while I'm at it.
