Hey my ute broke down today at the shops when i started it up there was a loud buzzing winding noise coming from the fuel tank so im guessing its the fuel pump and when i start the car it wont rev and just rattles then stalls i think because it has no fuel going to it , so anyways how do i remove my fuel pump from my tank in my ute cheers

take off the hose first and see if its actually pumping fuel out.
Removing is simple as jacking up car, draining tank, removing hoses and unscrewing 5 bolts. pull it all out and take off old pump and slide on new one. make sure you put it in exactly way it came out. |

Should only have an internal pump unless it has been upgraded. If it has an external pump it will be mounted on the front side of the tank. |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

While you're in there, check the float mechanism on the gauge, make sure it's working the way it should. Normally those gauges are not Ford kind if accurate i.e. show a 1/4 tank when they're really empty. |
