Hi all i have a problem,
I just brought a series 1 vn motor coz me vp blew and as i brought off the internet and it didnt come with the top hose stainless pipe that runs from the rear to front of engine
Very hard to find here in NZ so i was wondering if i could easily make up one with radiator hose and stainless elbows of which ill need 3 will this restrict water flow to much and cause it to overheat or shuld i bite the bullet and get one machined?

You probably could make one with radiator hose, but it wouldn't last too long.

With the heat of your exhaust manifold, the rubber will dry up and crack very quickly, leading to a leak over your manifold and heads, and a cracked manifold, possibly cracked heads and/or a blown headgasket.

Albeit, it's all up to you.

Go to a wrecker and pull one off...that way you know it'll all line up.

you could put the vp inlet manifold on would save the hassles and the fact that the S1 engine needs the different header tank and stuff to work properly
