A friend of mine has an interesting test when he puts in a new stereo on his car. Calls it the beer tinny test. Stand an empty (and obviously clean) aluminium can on top of the rear seat, near the rear speakers on the parcel shelf. Turn up music with suitable amount of bass, and see how long it takes for the speakers to knock said tinny over (he takes his audio seriously) Should be one of the tests they should use at the Summernats sound off.

My stereo is so good that I cant even get into the car with it going cos it just pushes me away, so a tin doesnt have a chance

Just be thankful you got two legs to stand on and hands to grab sh*t with!

You should post some video of that, people would find it very funny to see the tinny launched across the cab.

Obviously helps to have some serious bass, but have seen all kinds of variations on it. The most basic version was a science experiment in primary school. A candle, in close range to sound vibrations, will flicker in time to the source. The example used in the experiment was holding a bucket near the candle, and giving the bottom of it a thump. But if you have serious audio, it's more fun to do it with a tinny
