Do you mean the flexible part of the oil line? You have to remember as well, when you first fill up an empty power steering pump, there will be a lot of air in it. First degrease and clean down everything. Blow out all the oil, crap and dirt so you can see what's going on. Then fill up the power steering pump, and put a tray underneath as much of the system as you can. 99% of leaks are caused by three things with the power steering lines: loose clamps, loose o-ring fittings, and blown hoses. Run the engine, and turn the wheel from lock to lock, and watch to see where it is coming from. It should stand out like a drag queen at an AC/DC concert with everything clean. |
