I take it you have done the "stick a bolt in the plug lead against the manifold" test, for ignition through the leads. Another one to check, is whether or not the distributor is turning, with the cap off. The Holden Black and Ble sixes were known to drop their distributor drive gear, but not so common in V8s of any kind. Just for the elimination process, check it anyway. Check the sensors in it, and double check all wiring to it. Sometimes even too much crap and carbon can make electronic components hot, hot enough to make enough resistance to make them die. It could be the sensor inside the distributor, but you won't know unless you can check somehow. I'm unfamiliar with what goes on under the cap on those things, but trying to work out everything that can go wrong.

Could be a few things mate, if you have no fuel injection or spark it could be a faulty ecu. When you replaced the ingition module was it a new one or second hand? i would only go brand new or reconditioned by someone that knows what their doing as ive had a few dramas with second hand units.

Cheers,
Nodg.
