Hi fellow VNers what would you say is a fair price for fitting a new clutch to my series 2 (Oct '91) S V6 I have the kit already, just need it fitted (& possibly the flywheel machined?) The original has now done 296,000k cheers John

Machining the flywheel is usually about $50-$70, depending largely on who does it. The clutch change itself is usually up to a 3 hour job, due to the need to take off the gearbox to get at it. Ask the workshops what they charge per hour, and get a few quotes. First you ask how long it would take, then ask how much. |
