Do you have a spare throttle body? If the stud itself keeps turning, I may be the bearer of bad news. It means that the stud has managed to work itself loose. I would keep spares of that nut and washer, and hope for the best until you can get the proper replacement. Oh, and attach a piece of string to the manifold and the throttle pivot, so it doesn't fall onto the road. |

Yeah I'm gonna get a throttle Body from the wreckers, I was quoted $80 is that reasonable a price? Can you get new ones do they make them anymore? |

I couldn't give you a straight answer as to what's reasonable.I would try places like Coventrys, Repco, Holden dealers themselves, and the usual suspects to see if you can still get one new, but call several wrecking yards for a secondhand unit. It could be that the one yard you call might be a shark, or he could be the cheapest in town. You don't know until you compare |
