Yesterday, I heard somthing from Vicroads I didn't think any state licensing office would ever do. Apparently because I was the registered owner of my VN when I bought it in WA, because I now have a Victorian licence, and have no intention of selling it, I don't need to have it inspected. All the stuff I was planning to fix, I will anyway, but it's a relief not to have to worry about what they might or might not find, and how much it will cost to fix.
If I were to move back to WA with Victorian plates, I would have to have an inspection to get WA plates back on it. No ifs, buts or maybes, they want to know it's roadworthy
