Right so I've got myself a VN GTS, its a project and is mostly complete minus engine/gbox. I've picked up some original sideskirts for it (the guy sellin the car had already started wrecking it before i came along) and also a bonet but im not sure about the front bumper/bar.

From what I gather the GTS came with the SS kit minus the boot spoiler, had a smaller simpler one instead. The front bar though seems really hard to come by in nz. I've heard that the calais is the same just without driving lights but googlin for images they look shorter, like is missing the lip.

Anyway just wanting some help, would even consider a front bar of a different model if it fitted with the SS rear and side skirts

Just be thankful you got two legs to stand on and hands to grab sh*t with!

Exterior - GTS badges on guards and rear garnish, SS lower body kit (less spoiler), SV3800 style rear spoiler, 15inch GTS rims with approximately half being fitted with a sunroof.
The SS has a lower lip kit that extends the front bumper which I believe is just an executive item.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

They certainly look alike, when that lip is removed. It would appear that the only real difference between an Exec and SS bumper is paint and that lip. Saw this in a wrecking yard the other day, and there doesn't look like any real structural difference. Although I believe there is a specific bracket that bolts on for the fog lights. Nothing you couldn't build yourself

Thats awesome guys. Next question is where the hell would I find a lip kit? Original would be nice but if theres a fibreglass option out there id look at it. Parts are gettin pretty scarce for the higher models in nz

One I found on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Commodore-Front-Spoiler-S-SS-type-VN-VP-VR-VS-/300424186285?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45f2ad49ad
Should be a few out there.
Maybe try the vn ss club site.
